This project asks students to bear witness to their worlds. Using photography as a documentary tool students must document a choosen subject. The project aims to give students an opportunity to document something which exists outside of themselves and to bring that documentation to the studio and to internalize the documentation within a time based narrative.
The key objective here is to have students look outside as way to develop their internal voice. What students pay attention as unique observers is integral to providing them with their own "voice". This is evident in the diversity of the projects themselves.
